    Donald Jay Saff (born 12 December ) is an artist, art historian, educator, and lecturer, specializing in the fields of contemporary art in addition to American and English was born in Brooklyn, New York to Irving and Rose Saff and is the second of three sons. His brothers are Dr. Harvey Saff and mathematician Dr. Edward Saff married Ruth .
